When the Holy Spirit lives in us we are inspired to be witnesses and do good works. Being a Christian is definitely more than just sitting in a chair, more than going to a church service, and more than just making yourself into the best version of you.
Being a Christian is serving like Jesus.
Firstly, serving fellow believers.
But secondly, and just as importantly, serving people who are lost out in the grey of the world.
There are so many good things to do, but what should I be doing?
Jesus said "Truly, the Son can do nothing by himself. He does only what he sees the Father doing. Whatever the Father does, the Son also does..."
Ask God to show you. He is faithful and will lead you.
When He puts something on your heart, it's ok to knock on the door and see if that's where He's taking you. If the door doesn't open, it's ok. Keep praying and knocking on other doors.
Servants are World Changers.
You have no idea the kind of impact that you serving your church family and you serving your community and the world will make. The disciples and other believers that were with Jesus turned around and served the world through the leading of the Holy Spirit and rocked history.
God can do the same thing through us!
